Connect 49 is an exciting new service for Central Bedfordshire. It is provided through a partnership between Central Bedfordshire Council, South Midland Connect and Centrebus, and is specifically designed to meet the travel needs of local communities.
The main part of the route between Leighton Buzzard, Hockliffe, Woburn and Woburn Sands runs like a traditional bus service. Just check the timetable to find out when the bus is due, signal for the driver to stop at any designated bus stop, and then pay your fare or show your pass.
Part of the route runs as an “on demand” service. These are shaded in green on the timetable. If you wish to alight at any of these points, you need to tell the driver when you get on the bus. If you wish to board here, you need to book in advance by telephone. Further information is shown below. Remember, if passengers do not book the bus for these points, the bus may take a different route.
Times shown for “on demand” points are approximate. We will confirm a time to you when you book, and always aim for the bus to arrive within 10 minutes of the time we tell you.
If you would like more information about this service, or have a suggestion, please do get in touch. 49 Connect is all about working with you for a better service
